nGomA and Friends...

A study/performance troupe spearheaded by Mr. Eric Kelley in 94'-95'. Eric studied under the wing of Mr. Arthur Hull while at the University of Santa Cruz CA..The group was catalyzed through the West African Drum and Dance Scene in Portland OR. and through the influence of individuals like Mr. Kim Atkinson, Ms. Virginia Lopez, and Mr. Caton Lyles. As legend has it Eric Kelley, Aaron Johnson, Jason Gibson, Jim Gilland, and T-Bone Tyron we're participant's in Ruby Burn's dance class. The group performed at schools and around town for a brief period of time before the kids (Josua' & RuneStar) we're born. Ngoma peaked out as the headlining act/experience during the Harvest Jam gathering at Silver Falls State Park in 1995, and will hopefully peak out again.
